CONCERNS REGARDING CENTENNIAL POOL.
WE UNDERSTAND YOU DID NQT
RECEIVE THAT LETTER, AND AT YOUR REQUEST WILL PUT
IN WRITING SOME OF
THE AREAS QF CONCERN WE HAVE ABOUT CENTENNIAL
POOL.
AS YQU ARE WELL AWARE CENTENNIAL POOL WAS
WITH MANY OTHFR CENTENNIAL POOLS AND IS ONE OF BUILT IN 1957 ALONG
THE LAST STILL IN USE.
EVERYTH NG HAS A LIFE EXPECTANCY, AND AFTER 30
YEARS OF USE THIS
FACZLI'IY HAS SERVED ITS PURPOSE. MAINTENANCE STAFF
DO THEIR UTMOST
TO PRESENT THE FACILITY AT ITS BEST, BUT
BECAUSE OF THE AGE OF THE
FACILITY, AND BECAUSE ZT SEEMS TO HAVE A LQW PRIORITY WHEN
IT COMES
TO THE PURSE STRINGS, CENTENNIAL POOL HAS
BECOME RUNDOWN AND IS IN A
STATE OF - QÃSTANT DISREPAIR.
IT IS THE OPINION OF THE MAPLINS AND
THE FACT THAT IT IS ONE OF THE LAST REMAINING
POOLS IN
USE, THE POINT OF REPAIR HAS LONG SINCE PASSED CENTENNIAL
AND IT NEEDS TO BE

REPLACED.
