ITEM I Re: Parking Regulations - Salisbury - Coast Meridian to Sefton Problems have been reported concerning large trucks parking on Salisbury from Coast Meridian to Sefton for long periods including overnight. The Committee recommends that because of this problem and because of the recently expanded commercial development which has taken place in this area, the following parking restrictions be instituted on both sides of Salisbury Avenue from Coast Meridian Road to Sefton Street: . 2 Hour Parking, Monday ~ Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. No Parking - 3:00 a.m.. to 8:00 a.m. ITEM II Re: Lougheed Highway Widening - Maaning and Fraser Access to Chester Recently a meeting has been held with the Department of Highways to discuss access to Chester Street from the resi- dernces west of Chester. As part of the Lougheed ~ Shaughnessy intersection improvement a raised center median will be constructed north to Fraser Avenue which will prohibit left turns to and ‘from Manning Avenue. The Department of Highways recommends that the Manning Avenue access to the relocated Chester Street be cut off and that a street be constructed from Manning to Fraser on property owned by the City. This recommendation is sncwn on the attached sketch. The Department of Highways is prepared to pay the City to construct the street at an estimated cost of $4,900.00. The Committee recommends that the proposal and re- commendations of the Department of Highways be accepted. -farreos
