Hydro has indicated it will relocate the 933 Lougheed from the present Coquitlam Avenue-Flint Street route to a Shaughnessy—Prairie route and relocate the 187 Coast Meridian from the present Coquitlam Avenue route to a Lougheed-Oxford route. Pub.Wks.Comm. re paper re- eycling pro- ject From the Public Works Committee, May 12th, 1977, advising of a Proposal received from Community Paper Recycling Ltd. to pay $25.00 per ton f.o.b. its Burnaby plant for old newsprint, with a guaranteed floor price of $14.00 per ton f.o.b. plant, and stating that it will cost approximately $4.00 per ton to store the newsprint at the Terra Nova Landfill site pending periodic transport to the Burnaby plant. It was suggested in the: report that the newsprint could be included with the regular garbage collection schedule and that the cost of equipping the three packer trucks with racks to accommodate the newsprint would be approximately $2,500.00. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Thompson: That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee, May 12th, 1977, a pilot newsprint pick-up programme be undertaken, commencing on June 13th, 1977, with the same to be given appropriate advance advertising, and that the costs and problems of the said programme
