George Bowering to read in Terrace ; ‘and one of Canada’s best-known poets, will be giving two public readings of his work: in Terrace, April 13; and in Hazelton, April 14. Bowering is a native of Oliver, B.C. ‘He has published many books of fiction, poetry, and criticism, and was the recipient of the Governor General’s Award for Poetry in 1969.
