The Bulgarian Home Society is a non-profit Society witha purpose to provide low-rental accomodation for elderly Canadian citizens and/or low-income families. I was under the impression that that was the aim of the original proposal at che above site. > am deeply zoncerned with the way the xrezoning developed. Apparently, che three present Directors of the Society bougth the =hree houses from Mr. Swen Jackson. Then che Directors proceeded with the hearings and now, according to what they have told me, chey are givihg Mr. Jackson the rigths to build on the rezonned land in exchange ‘for very small profit gor the Society. Mr. Jackson was 321iso tne builder for the recently build houses T + of every Director. n my opinion the possibility of contlict of interest is obvious. Io can not understand why the Directors are forgoing ‘che opportunity fo realize good return for the Society but instead ace giving Mr. Jackson that opportunity. fou may say that ai that is an internal matter for the Society sut, you snould know at since I am one of the only two members not being Directors, the members have no control whatsoever. The mirectors have refused to accept new members and also to show me any documents relevant to the rezoning. ITEM | PAGE
