the infrastructure required to support the plan's objectives, including transportation corridors, facilities, systems and services, regional water and sewer services and waste disposal facilities; and v) the economic and social policies and programs needed to support the plan's objectives. The Regional Board will ensure the following actions are completed as part of the preparation of a Regional Strategic Plan: i) preparation of forecasts, projections and other research concerning matters to be contained in the Regional Strategic Plan; review and analysis of Official Community Flans for municipalities and Electoral Areas in the Regional District affecting or affected by matters to be addressed in the Regiona’ Strategic Plan; consultation with member municipalities and senior goverment agencies in respect to matters to be addressed in the Regional Strategic Plan; and consultation with the public regarding matters to be addressed in the Regional Strategic Plan. A Regional Strategic Plan may only be adopted by a bylaw of the Regional Board which is approved by consensus. Consensus shall be deemed to exist if each reading of such bylaw receives an atfirmative vote of at least 3/4 of cll Directors in an unweighted vote. Prior to the Regional Board giving first reading to a bylaw adopting a Regional Strategic Plan ("Regional Strategic Plan Adoption Bylaw") a resolution of approval in principle of the proposed Regional Strategic Plan must be passed not less than six months prior to the first reading being given. Such resolution must be approved by consensus as defined in Section 6 of this bylaw. Within one month of passage cf the resolution described in Paragraph 7, the Regional Board shall refer the proposed Regional Strategic Plan to member municipalities of the Greater Vancouver Regiona | District and its Electoral Area Directors. | ITEM | PAGE | | faa
