That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee,
March ist, 1976, the proposed "Policy for Division of Responsibility for
Maintenance and Improvement of Inter-~Municipal Boundary Roads Between
the District of Coquitiam and the City of Port Coquitlam", dated February
23rd, 1976, be approved as to Maintenance only and that the said Policy
be referred back to the Committee for further review with respect tv»

That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee,
March lst, 1976, approval in principle be given to a request from the
Department of Highways in a letter dated February 10th, 1976 on the
City's share of street lighting, traffic signals, etc., amounting to
$159,464.00 in connection with the Lougheed Highway widening project,
with specific approval being withheld until the exact amount and date of
invoicing are known. Carried.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Traboulay
inquired whether the City would be required to share in other costs of
the Lougheed Highway widening project, such as curbing, sanitary sewers,
etc., and he was advised by Alderman Mabbett that the street lighting
would be the only cost the City would have to bear in that regard.
