from both the Minister of Health and the Hospital District. From
these it will be noted that approval has been granted for 150 Acute
and 75 Extended Gare beds. What has not been established is
whether "facilitating future expansion" means a shell or unfinished
area in the first stage of development or whether this might mean
only design with foundations provision for expansion,

You will further note that the Hospital District is seeking
Clarification of the Minister's intent and hopes to have this in
November,
