He felt very strongly that these people should be permitted to be part of P.C.A.A.A. Also he felt that certain areas of the community surrounding Port Coquitlam are not serviced by the District of Coquitlam and these people have traditionally belonged toβ€ž and played, sports in Port Coquitlam, especially in areas along Victoria Drive, Hastings Street, etc. The Committee thanked him for his input. Dear Janna: It is my understanding that the City is now responsible .for the maintenance of fields at George Pearkes Junior High School. If thisclumped's is correct, would it be possible to have some minor repair work done on the two all weather diamonds of this preferably by the time our season starts Monday, April school, that is required are minor levelling and raking to remove grass these have caused safety problems. It has also come to the attention of the Softball Zxecutive that Hastings Junior High School has an all weather field large enough for at least two softball diamonds. Unfortunately, they do not have backstops. Would it be possible for the City to install backstops on this field, as we have been given permission to use them by the school's Principle. Should the City be unable to provide these backstops, would it then be possible for an estimate be made available to us as to the cost of materials and installation so that we may pursue 23rd'll this matter through our own means? Your co-operation in the above will be greatly appreciat..d. Yours Truly, Gerrit Koops, President, P . C.M.S .A.
