From the Finance Committee, November 29th, 1979 and December 4th,
1979 being a Statement of Accounts Payable in the amount of $67, ,540. 32
and $565, 718.29, respectively.

That the report of the Finance Committee; November 29th, 1979 and
December 4th, 1979 being a Statement of Accounts Payable in the amount

of $67,540.32 and $565,718.29, respectively, be approved.

Prior to the passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay

asked that the Finance Committee look inte paying small iicems on the

Statement of Accounts out of petty cash.

From the Public Works Committee, December 6th, 1979 advising of.
three projects proposed for application to the
revenue sharing on arterial roads.

Moved by Alderman Mabbett:

Seconded by Alderman Traboulay:

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, December 6th,
1979 applications to the Provincial Government for revenue sharing on
arterial toads be made for the three projects as outlined in the report.
Carried.
Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution

Alderman Mabbett explained the reason for applying for the revenue

sharing at this time. Alderman Ranger spoke in favour of the third item

in the report which involved construction on Prairie Road but stated in
his opinion ‘the other items should be balanced with work done in
residential areas.

From the Public Works Committee, December 6th, 1979 recommending:
that "no parking at any time" be implemented on the narrow road, on the
west side of Shaughnessy Street parallel to the underpass, so that

access to the Poco Auto Centre can be maintained.

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, December 6th,

1979 "no parking at any time" be implemented on the narrow road on the
