By the end of 1972 five Local girl: guides
will have earned their "Canada Cord." The Canada Cord
4s the highest award in guiding and only awarded after
une guide has made a considerable amount of personal
effort.

vo The Burke Mountain Guiders with the ladies'
auxilliary plan to honour these girls locally when they
are presented with their cords.

of the Mabbet Room from approximately 7:00 PM- 9:30 PM
on either Jan. 15, 16, or 47. Since our finances are
extremely limited; will the city council consider
‘waiving the usual rental fee? °
