The Planning & Zoning Committee met on Thursday, August 21st.

The. Committee discussed the proposed modular housing development in the

Oxbow Ranch area. The Committee feels that although the development does
not directly affect the City, there are some aspects that are of concern,
in particular, the matter of traffic access. At the present time, access

can only be gained through Chester Street in the City.

The Committee recommends that we ask the District of Coquitlam to participate
in a joint meeting with the Planning and Zoning Committee and the Public Works
Committee to have Coquitlam outline their plans for the development of this

area.
