July 12th, 1976 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Cocuitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on July 12th, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen G.R. Laking, E.M. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P.Eng., Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, Planning Officer Lanson Lee and Mrs. M.K. Warwick. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Zoning Public Hearing ~ B/Laws #1451 & #1452 His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised the meeting the following proposed By~laws to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: By-law No. 1451: To rezone Lot 421, NW Section 6, Township 40, Plan 48883, from RS- 2 (One Family Suburban Residential) to RS~l (One Family Residential). This property is approximately 2.3 acres in area and is located at the South end of Fir Street North of the 700 Block Prairie Avenue, and it is expected that 9 residential lots will be created following completion of the rezoning procedures. By-law No. 1452: To rezone Lot 205, District Lot 290, Group. One, Plan 34372, New Westminster istrict, from CS-2 (Service Station Commercial)to RS- 1 (One Family Residential). ; This property has the civic address of 1942 Eastern Drive and is the site of the former Standard Service Station. It is expected that 3 residential lots will be created following completion of the rezoning procedures. There being no one present to speak for or against the proposed rezonings, the Public Hearing was then concluded at 7:35 p.m. and the regular Council meeting commenced.
