Re: Sign permit for Grace Gospel Tabernacle, 2606 Kingsway
Avenue, Port Coquitlam.

Although .the above property is now zoned RS-1 and the proposed
Sign would be non-conforming, the past and present .use of this
property is institutional. It is my understanding that the

“institutional sign requirements could be applied in this
instance only -

. The proposed freestanding sign is restricted tos
a) One sign.
b) Located a minimum i. Sm (5 ft.) from the property. line..
“e) Maximum. height 2. Sm (8 ft.).
oa) Maximum area. 2m2 (22 sq. ft.). .
= Reverend David- Sheppard was advised by me that. if larger signs

ape needed he should approach council to have the-bylaw
: changed, before a permit could be issued.

“I am suggesting no change to the current sign use and that
Reverend Sheppard will have to depend on the judgment of ,
“council for any ,.changes.
