THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM BYLAW NG. 1959 MAR N 2 3 1283 A bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Sign Bylaw, 1979, No. 1661" The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam in open meeting assembled enacts as follows: . The "City of Port Coquitlam Sign Bylaw, 1979, No. 1661" is amended by adding (a) after section 8(e) “"8(f) In addition to the number of signs permitted under this bylaw and notwithstanding other regulations of this bylaw, on a parcel exceeding 3,000 Square metres in area in a C-3 or C-4 zone, not more than one Freestanding directional off-site sign referring to two or nore places of business is permitted provided that ean egnenng ieee sew uname aes (i) the area of: the sign does not exceed 6 Square metres CLE) the sign may be. located anywhere on -the parcel but shall not extend over the parcel. boundary; and |... “ . (iii) the maximum height of the sign is 7.5 metres. 8(g) On a ‘parcel of land. having. an area less. than 1,000 square metres ‘located in. a zone in which residential or institutional uses are permitted and upon which there is ea parcel set ‘apart and in use for the public worship of God, the maximum height. and maximum area of the freestanding sign permitted on the parcel may exceed the naxinun height and. maxinum area specified under this by law provided that ‘ (i) the maximum height of the sign does not exceed 4 netres; and (ii) the maximum area of the sign does not exceed 4.46 square metres."3 and ‘after. section 20. "20.A If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this bylaw is for any reascn held to be invalid by the decision of any Court of competent jurisdiction, the invalid portion shall be severed’ and the decision that it is invalid shall not affect the velidity of the - remainder.". 2.
