June 27, 1988/1534 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council meeting of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam in the “Campbell Room”, Best Western PeaCo Motor Inn, 1545 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, June 27th, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Alderman M.C. Farnworth, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart, and R.H. Talbot in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator 8.R. Kirk, City Cierk/Deputy City Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor and Secretary S. Rauh. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2367: to rezone Lot 1, Pian 71092 Lots 89 and 90, Plan 16702 Lots 91 and 92, Plan 19019 The portions of lane stiown hatched on the Plan attached to and made part of the “Wilson Avenue Lane Road Exchange Bylaw, 1988, No. 2357” all in District Lot 289, Group One, New Westminster District. from RM-2 (Low Density Apartment) and P-1 (Public Institutional) to P-2 (Private Institutional) The property is located on the south side of the 2200 Block Wilson Avenue and would permit the construction of a hotel style senior citizen residence. Mrs. Sylvia Osberg, 3156 Raleigh Street objected to the appraisal and sale of City propertyinvolved in the rezoning. Bylaw No. 2368: tc rezone (a) That part of Lot "A" shown on a Proposed Subdivision Plan dated May 6th, 1988 prepared by V.C. Goudal and Associates under their File Number C3950~88C now zoned P-2 (Private Institutional). from P-2 (Private Institutional) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential). That part of Lot "B" shown on a Proposed Subdivision Plan dated May 6th, 1988 prepared by V.C. Goudal and Associates under their File Number C3950-88C now zoned RS-1 (Large Lot Residential). from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential). The property is located in District Lot 232, Group One, New Westminster District and has the Civic Address 1250 Gateway Place and would permit the creation of one additional residential lot.
