Canadian Arme Export to the Mideast

During its meeting held Fabruary 4, 199%, Vancouver City Council
considered the enclosed report of its Special Advisory Committee on
Peace, concerning Canadian Arms Export to the Mideast. City Council
approved the recommendations contained in the report, including a
recommendation that these concerns be communicated to ether Canadian

municipalities to solicit their support.

Accordingly, on behalf of Vancouver City Council, and the Special
