DISCUSSTON: N.D. Lea has been retained by the City of Port Coquitlam to design and Supervise the road reconstruction project on Coast Meridian at mo Prairie. Tender documents were produced for this project with 8 copies picked up and 3 returned for consideration. Major works for the intersection are as follows: Roadworks excavation Asphalting . Curb and gutter Sidewalks and bicycle paths Streetlighting Upgrading the existing traffic signal system (see attached for location) N. D. Lea have reviewed the three tenders that were received Thursday August 6, 1992 and have recommended that the low bidder Imperial Paving of Burnaby be awarded the contract (see attached letter). The total bid of $739,635.00 includes GST and a $100,000 contingency /‘provisional sum amount.
