Lee Theatre on Aug. 1 and Aug. 3 at 8 p.m. oo Riverboat Days hits second week TERRACE — The Terrace Riverboat Days celebration con- tinues to bring enjoyment ‘to residents in the midsummer with © many activities to complement _the first five days. The Terrace 60th Diamond Jubilee Commit- tee’s arts and crafts display will continue on Thursday, July 30 from noon to 5 p.m. in the art gallery; then at 7 p.m. the bed races will be run down Lakelse _ Avenue. On Friday, July 31 the arts and crafts display. will continue at the art gallery and the public library from noon to 5 p.m; then an all native soccer tourna- ment will be held at the Skeena Field. The tournament is spon- sored by the Canyon City Lions: Club and should entertain soccer fans; at 7:30 the Men’s Slo-pitch League will compete in a tourna- -ment at Riverside and Rotary Parks. A pancake breakfast will begin the Aug. 1 schedule. The "neal will be held at the Happy Gang Centre and is sponsored by the B.C. Old Age Pensioners, Branch:13.
