SUBJECT: Property Consolidation - South Shaughnessy Lands

RESOLUTION:

THAT the consolidating subdivision plan of certain property owned by The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam in District Lots 174 and 289,
Group 1, New Westminster District, prepared by Water E. Frith, B.C.L.S., and
dated may 7th, 1992, wherein Lot 1 having an area of 13.54 ha, and Lot 2
having an area of 2.790 ha, are created and a portion of the said certain
property is dedicated ag "Road", be approved;

AND THAT the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the documents necessary
for the purposes aforesaid, affix the Corporate Seal of the City thereto, and
make the necessary filings in the Land Title Office,

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

A copy of the plan that would be approved by the resolution stated above will
be on display in the Council Chambers.

This comes before Council in order that proceedings under the "South
Shaughnessy Lands Road Exchange Bylaw, 1992, No. 2697", considered earlier
this evening, may be completed. The subdivision plan that would be authorized
by the resolution above Is an intermediate step to consolidate all the City
owned land in the area into two parcels; one east and one west of Shaughnessy
Street (which will be relocated Slightly to the west). A second subdivision
has been proposed to further subdivide the property but it cannot be completed
until this intermediate step has been taken.
