Even though White had
the night off, the game
was an important one for
the team. A Blue victory
Meant White would clinch
top spot in the standings,
with Red remaining six
points behind the leader.

Red opened the scoring
at 10:31 when Sean Ca-
sper posted his 11th mark-
er of the season. Team
Blue tied things up at 3:31
on a goal from Devon
Mercer and the game re-
mained 1-1 after one. In
the opening minute of the
second, Jon Sarsiat scored
but again, Mercer scored
late in the period to tie the
game, and after two per-
icds, the score was 2-2.

Team Blue took the
lead at 15:36 of the final
frame on a goal from none
other than Devon
Mercer. Blue scored again
a minute later, this time
on a goal from Branden
Green. But at 7:09 Red cut
the lead to 4-3 on a goal
from Shawn Barg.
