‘Landscaping. the Dairy Queen be allowed to undertake the construction of a landscaped
seating area on the sidewalk space on Whyte Avenue outside the Dairy

Queen.

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, Merch 19th, 1980
the Dairy Queen be allowed to undertake the construction of a landscaped
seating area on the sidewalk space on Whyte Avenue outside the Dairy
Queen subject to the conditions as outlined in the report;

AND THAT the City Engineer be authorized to issue a permic.

Carried.
Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Mabbett
stated he is in favour of the application as long as the City has a good
contract with Dairy Queen to keep the area clean.

~ Gomm. Hotel. loading zone in front of the lobby of the Commercial hotel and recommending
that a 15 minute loading zone be installed directly in front of the
entrance to the lobby of the Commercial Hotel on Flint Street extending

from the driveway to 9 m south.

the Right-of-Way Agreement for the Greater Vancouver Sewer and Drainage
District's sewer be approved; and that His Worship the Mayor and
the City Clerk be authorized to sign the Agreement on behalf of the

City and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.
