Number and Gender

41. In this offer and the agreement resulting from acceptance
the City of this offer wherever the singular or masculine
used it will be construed as if the plural or feminine or
neuter, as the case may be, had been used where the context

or the parties hereto so require.

Appropriation

42. Notwithstanding any other provision of this offer and the
agreement resulting from acceptance by the City of the offer
the payment of funds by the Province pursuant to this offer
and the agreement resulting from acceptance by the City of this

offer is subject to the Legislative Assembly of the Province

of British Columbia huving provided funds for such purpose

for the fiscal year in which such funds are required.
