ee COUNCI CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM SEP 10 19gN TO: BoR. Kirk DATE: August 24, 1990 City Administrator FROM: T.R. Zahynacz, P. Eng, City Engineer SUBJECT: Request for Ho Exit for the Lane Exst of Jervis, North of Lougheed (Public Works Committee Meeting Auguat 21, 1990) Recommendations: That Council. approve the installation of a (No Through Road} sign at the entrance to the lane east of Jervis Street and north of the Lougheed Highway. Background & Comment.s: The Committee considered the attached report regarding the request for a No ‘Exit sign at the entrance to the lane east of Jervis Street and north of the Lougheed Highway and felt that signing was necessary because vehicles were short cutting between Jervis and Hastings Street using the lane and a road through a multi family area thereby creating a hazard. However, the Committee felt that a No Through Road sign would be more appropriate rather than the No Exit sign requested by the residents. ‘ a 4 . i i -y k m ¢ { veo : 3 od } ra ) .
