DRAFT RESOLUTION

WHEREAS the "Of Ficial Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1, 1986, No. 2192" received
tirst reading on August lith, 1986;

AND WHEREAS the Council has, since that date, considered the proposed amendment to the
Official Community Plan in conjunction with the City's most recent Capital Expenditure
Program;

AND WHEREAS the Council! has, since that date, considered the proposed amendment tc the
Official Community Plan in conjunction with the Economic Strategy Plan entitled "Port
Coquitiam tndustrial Development Strategy";

ANO WHEREAS no applicable Waste Management Plan exists for consideration;

NOW THEREFORE BE 1!T RESOLVED:

THAT no inconsistency can be seen to exist between the amendment to the Official
Community Plan proposed to be enacted by Bylaw No. 2192 and the City's most recent
Capital Expenditure Program; .

THAT no inconsistency can .be seen to exist between the amendment to the Official
Community Plan proposed to be enacted by Bylaw No. 2192 and the Economic Strategy Plan
entitled "Port Coquitiam Industria! Development Strategy" that was presented to

Counci| at its meeting of May 13th, 1985;
THAT no applicable Waste Management Plan exists for consideration;

THAT Section | of the said Bylaw No. 2192 be deleted and the following substituted:

"Section 4.4.2(1)(b) of the Official Community Plan Policies, being Achedule "A"
the "Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162", is repealed and the following

substituted:

'4.4.2(1)(b) (1) Prairie - Coast Meridian apartment disitrict Is permitted a density
of 124 dwelling units per hectare. oe
(iT) Woodiand Drive apartment district Is permitted a density of 42
dwelling units per hectare.'"

THAT the said Bylaw No. 2192, as amended, be read a second time;

AND_THAT the City Clerk be instructed to insert the necessary newspaper advertisements
and make the other necessary arrangements in order that the required Public Hearing on
Bylaw No. 2192 may be held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272
McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, 8.C., on Monday, September 22nd, 1986 at 7:30 p.m.
