RECOMMENDA TT ON s

1, THAT thia application be approved to proceed for Rezoning From RM-2 (Low
Density Apartment) to RM-4 (Apartment) under Section 963 of the Municipal
Act eubject to:

a. Completion of a deaign to the eaatisfaction of the Director of
Planning;

b. Satisfaction of Engineering requirements;

Submndigeion of landscaping plans to the satisfaction of the Parks and
Recreation Department;

Satisfaction of Budlding Department concerns;
Consolidation of the propertiea into one lot; and
Tesuance of a Development Permit.

THAT the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit
60/92: and

3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when
completed aubject to the conditions noted above.

BACKGROUND :

Approval of this Rezoning and Development Permit application will
facilitate construction of a 33 wit apartment building at 2358 to 2370 Wilson
Avenue. The aite ie within an "Apartment" designated area and aubject to
design guideli:es outlined in the Official Commmity Plan for the Downtown
Development Permit Area.
