1. Committee endorsed change to building by-law as follows:

Farm Buildings shall be designed and built in accordance with the

National Building Code 1975. The exact wording will be drafted by the

City Clerk and solicitor, however, the intent of this change is to control
structural design only. It was suggested at the meeting that this be

brought forward to Council for approval in principle first. Solicitors last
comments were that we could choose sections from the farm by-law for adoption.

Due to the uncertainty of completion of hard surfacing of Fire Hall site and
access, the Official Opening of the Northside fire hall will be delayed.
