Noyember 18, 1991/275 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November 18th, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor LM. Traboulay and Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator BR. Kirk, Acting City Clerk S. Rauh, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, and Fire Chief J. Baillie. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on November 4th, 1991 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. DELEGATION: His Worship LM. Traboulay introduced Mr. Mike Farrell of Chevron Canada Ltd. who gave a brief description of the Development Permit for 2525 Shaughnessy Street and informed Council that after haviig listened to the concerns raised at an earlier meeting and through the local press, Chevron is prepared to give its commitment to: i) make full-serve fueling available during core business hours at the redeveloped site; will work with your Planning Department to beautify the site by adding parklike landscaping at the entrance and modifying our station signage to compliment that landscaping; and stand willing to work with your Planning Department to modify certain design elements that would enhance the blending of our station with the surrounding neighbourhood.
