ANIMAL CONTROL FACILITY MONTHLY SERVICE REPORT CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MARCH, 1980 During the month a total of 44 complaints were received, however, 53 animals were Impounded and of these 27 were clalmed, The number of animals destroyed through the pound 12, plus a further |} dead animals were picked up off the streets. Reviewing the first quarter of 1979 to 1980 It would appear that complalnts have sifghtly increased, however, the number of animals Impounded has alse shown an Increase. The number of complaints have Inercased from 130 te 145, however, the number of animals Impounded '10 to 160. When impoundments are exceeding complaints then the Impounding iorce Is acting In a efflelent manner, The clalm rate In the flest quarter also shows a Improvement.
