October 18th, 1976 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation cf the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on October 18th, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, M.A. Thompson and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P.Eng., Phamning Officer Lanson Lee, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Werks & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. M.K. Warwick. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Minutes-Oct.4/76 Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the minutes of the regular meeting of this Council ield on October 4th, 1976 be taken as read and adopted. Carried. Mayor Campbell enquired if there would be any objection to moving Agenda items 18 to 27 to be con- Agenda Items 18 to 27, inclusive, forward for consideration following sidered following ‘Delegations’ the Delegations, for the convenience of those interested persons present in the gallery. Mayor Campbell extended a welcome to a group of students from Welcome to George Pearkes students George Pearkes Junior Secondary School and their teacher Ms. Dorothy Ross, who were present in the gallery to observe a Council meeting in order to fulfill a requirement of one of their courses. Alderman Traboulay noted for information that Ms. Ross is a sitting member of the Family Division Committee as a representative of the City of Port Coquitiam. DELEGATIONS: From the Planning and Zoning Committee, October 7th, 1976 with Planning & Zoning Comm. Oct.7/76 re respect to rezoning application R#14/73 being Nu-West Development Nu-West Dev.Corp. R#14/73 - Cedar Dr. -Mr.Shellenberg in Corporation's development proposal for a 38 acre site on Cedar Drive and attendance briefly outlining the results of numerous negotiation meetings between the Developer and the various Council Committees and further advising
