INTER OFFICE MEMC TO: Mayor and Aldermen DATE: Oct r th 97% FROM:R. A. Freeman, City Clerk. , Got. ‘ Re: Sign Changes — 2540 Shaughnessy Mall OCT ai 1974 The Council will recall that under date of September 18th, 1974 the Building and Protection Committee reported as follows: "The Committee does not recommend sign changes for the 2540 Shaughnessy Mall as outlined in the attached plan. The Mall came under a Development Permit, therefore sign areas also come under the same Permit. The proposed sign is contrary to the Permit, therefore requires Council approval or disapproval." _The above-noted report was considered at the Council meeting of September 23rd, 1974, and representatives of the persons interested in carrying out the sign changes were to be in attendance, but shortly before the commencement of the meeting ‘we were advised that they could not attend and this subject was, therefore, deferred pending their appearance before the Council. We are now advised that Mr. E.C. Morel, of Walburn Neon Ltd. will be in attendance at the Council meeting of October 21st, 1974, (possibly along with others) to discuss this matter with the Council. The plan referred to in the section of the report quoted above is attached for Council's information. hase) ‘City Clerk /ba ‘attachment. a Ae he tials
