Our firm made application for a building permit to construct a licensed
retail store at the above premises. A building permit was issued dated
April 23, 1987 and numbered 208-8.7.

We have now been advised by the Provincial Liquor Board that they now
require approval of the Municipal Council in the area in addition to

their own approval.

we wish to point out that licensed retail stores were approved by the
Provincial Legislature to provide a new dimension in marketing for

these products.

The Golden Ears Hotel is committed to this policy.
