SUBJECT: Award of Tenders — 1990 Annual Vehicie Replacement Program
(Public Works Committee Meeting, August 28, 1990)

Recommendation:

It is recommended that Council approve the expenditure of $60,020.38 from the

Equipment Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment from the following
suppliers:

One 8C kilowatt emergency generator from Cullen Detroit . ¢ 47,429.70
One portable air compressor from Finning Tractor 12,590.68

Background and Comments:

Attached is a memorandum from the Operations Manager to the City Engineer
which has been reviewed by the Public Works Committee. The Committee noted
that the equipment being purchased is replacing existing equipment in
accordance to the Annual Vehicle Replacement Program which has been
established by Council. .
