RECOMMENDATION:

That City Counci! authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to ‘endorse
the attached agreement.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The attached encroachment agreement Is to permit Coquitiam
Fiorist to construct a canopy over the sidewalk afong
Shaughnessy Street, Avenue and parking behind the
building. This proposal has been submitted to the Merchants!
Committee who approved the design for a Provincial Government
Facade ment Grant. In examining the proposed
improvements e suggested extending the canopy an
extra foot to In Avenuee The applicant
discussed thi i : Department to confirm
their agreement, an sal to provide the
extra rain protection for pedestrians walking along Elgin

Street.
