The Petition of the City of Port Coquitlam

HUMBLY SHOWETH:

That the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has
by Bylaw No. 2256 cited as the "City Hall Road Closure Bylaw, 1987, No. 2256"
stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of land and road therein
described;

That the said Bylaw No. 2256 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was
reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipai Counci! of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam on the 30th day of March, 1987 and a.

duly certified copy is attached hereto;

That the registered owners of ail the adjoining and contiguous lands have
consented to the closure of the said portion of Road and Lane described in the
said Bylaw No. 2256 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has agreed
to accept title to the land comprising the same;

That it is no longer necessary to use the portion of lane and road described in
the said Bylaw No. 2256 as part of the road system of the City and it is the
desire of tne Council of the City to obtain titite to the land comprising the same
in order that it may be added to the property owned by the city on which the Port
Coquitiam City Hall is located.

That by resolution dated the 27th day of Apri!, 1987 the Municipal Council! of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a
Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the
portion of lane and road described in the said Bylaw No. 2256 so stopped up and

closed to traffic;

THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of
Jane and road described in Bylaw No. 2256 of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the land comprising same in The Corporation

of the City of Port Coquitlam.

AND your Petitioner as in duty bound wiil ever pray, etc.
