Mon art et médium sont influencés
par mes études, mes premiers
emplois en travail social et mon
intérét pour les arts. Mes contribu-
tions photographiques me valurent
le grand prix photos «BC Faces of
Culture». Ensuite, avec le pro-
gramme d’études 4 |’Institut Emily
Carr d’Art et Design, j’ai bénéficié
d’une bourse et regu le troisi¢me
prix au Canada en photo-journalisme.
Aprés ma graduation, j’ai contribué
au journal Vancouver Sun et effectué
du travail 4 la pige pour divers
clients dont: UBC Sciences, V.G.H
and Children’s Hospital Foundation,
Ocean Canada ainsi que des indi-
vidus et groupes artistiques et cul-
turels.

My photo-media work derives from
my College studies and work in
social sciences. It is also influenced
by my personal research in the arts.
I have contributed photographs to
community newspapers such as the
Prince Rupert Daily news, and won
the grand prize of the «BC Faces of
Culture» Knowledge Network photo-
contest. During my fine arts studies
at Emily Carr Institute I was awar-
ded a national bronze «Class
Image» in photo-journalism. After
my graduation in 1989, I freelanced
for the Vancouver Sun daily newspa-
per, then became an independant
photographer. My work has been
exhi-bited in local galeries and pu-
blic buildings, published in national
and international print publications
for communication purposes.
