A; Held Auction _ The monthly meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association was held on Thursday evening of last week in the G. W. V. A. hall, President Sherwood in the chair. There was some discussion re- garding the generai business of the meeting, and two appeals for help were read, one for the children of Europe and one from the Sunshine and Fresh Air Club of Vancouver. The feature of the evening was an auction sale which was proposed by W. Bur- nett several meetings ago and it was a great success. Burnett was clerk. The total receipt were $24.30. ' F Successful Dance The Terrace Fall Fair Associa tion held a dance on May 9 in the G.W.V.A. . Hall and was pro- nounced to be one of the best. The orchestra consisting ‘of Mrs. Attwood, E. Roberts, L. H, Ken- ney and Mr. Murrin’ furnished excellent music.
