The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in
open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. “City of Port Coquitlam Building and Plumbing Code Administration Bylaw,
1974, No. 1298” (the "Bylaw”) is amended as follows:

(a) Subsection 7(f£) of the Bylaw is repealed and the following
substituted:

"(f£) Prior to the occupancy of any building or part thereof after
construction or alteration, or any change in class of occupancy,
the owner or occupier shall obtain an occupancy inspecrion from
the authority having jurisdiction, which inspection shall not be
complete until the building or part thereof complies with the
requirement of thia Bylaw and all other requirements relating to
the construction and occupancy of the building.”

Subsection l1lACa) of the Bylaw is amended by deleting the phrase "A
Certificate of Occupancy” and substituting the phrase "An occupancy
inspection”.

Subsection 1IA(b) of the Bylaw is repealed and the following
substituted:

"(b) Every building which requires an occupancy inspection shall
comply with the construction requirements for the major occupancy
group to be located therein.”

Subsecticn llA(c) of the Bylaw is amended by deleting the phrase
“Every application for a Certificate of Occupation shall contain” and
subatituting "Every applicant for a occupancy inspection shall
provide the information following prior to the occupancy inspection”.

Subsection 11A(d) of the Bylaw is amended by deleting the phrase
“Inspection for a Certificate of Occupancy” and substituting the

phrase “occupancy inspection ".
Subsections 1liA(g), (h), (1), and (4) of the Bylaw are repealed.

Paragraphs 2(a)(i) and (ii) of Appendix "A" to the Bylaw are repealed
and the following substituted:

"(i) For the installation of each fixture $14.00".
