Alderman Laking advised that the Centre was propesed for Port Moody; however, following discussions with the Board, Port Moody indicated it is prepared to accept the best location, not necessarily in that City. Alderman Traboulay stated he was not in favour of the study, as there is need for an Arts Centre in Port Coquitlam; however, Alderman Mabbett pointed out that the other components of the School District will be contributing to the cost of constructing the new covered swimming pool in the City. Mayor Campbell Stated he would like to see the motion am- ended to say “as long as the Study is not a preconceived notion that Port.
