City Engineer SUBJECT: AWARD OF TENDER - 26 LOT SUBDIVISION - STAFFORD AVENUE, WEST OF SHAUGHNESSY STREET (Pablic Works Committee Meeting of September 13, 1994) That Council award the tender for the installation of municipal services to Bel Construction Ltd. for the 26 lot subdivision at Stafford Avenue, west of Shaughnessy Street based on the tendered price of $993,517.47 (including GST). 2) That Council allocate $993,517.47 from the Land Sale Reserve for this purpose. ‘ite ve BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: The City of Port Coquitlam proposes to subdivide and sell 26 residential lots on Stafford Avenue and Marshall Avenue as shown on the attached Plan 1. Prior to subdivision all the municipal services including roads, sewer, water, power and telecommunication services are to be installed. As shown on the attached September 2, 1994 memo from the Project Engineer, bids have been | received from four contractors for the installation of these services and Bel Construction Ltd. is the lowest bidder with a tendered price of $993,517.47. of. 1 Almac Lo a Le _ LR.
