Kinsmen Property Tax Exemption Bylaw

RESOLUTIONS ;

l. That the "Kinsmen Community Building Leased Property Exemption from
Taxation Bylaw, 1990, No. 2519" be now placed before the Council for further
consideration.

2. That the "Kinsmen Community Building Leased Property Exemption fron.
Taxation Bylaw, 1990, No. 2519" be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

At the Council meeting of July 9th, 1990 the above noted bylaw failed to
get 5 affirmative votes and so did not receive final reading, despite the 4 to
1 vote in favour.

I would ask the Council to give this matter further consideration by
passing the first resolution cited above and when this has been done I would
expect that the second resolution will also receive the necessary 5
affirmative votes.
