WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling portions of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2533, South East Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHERRAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Sectian 2 of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the portions of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2533, South East Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District, to be cancelled; ‘ AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1975, provides that the Council may by By-Law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be . ’ . necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, re-locating or diverting the highway; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meating, assenbled, enacts as follows: i. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: All those portions of road shown dedicated on Plan 2533 in Block 4 of the South East Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District, having areas of 0.0026 ha and 0.0199 ha shown within the heavy outline on a Reference Plan certified by Walter E.
