re Parking -

March 3rd, 1980.

From the Public Works Committee, February 28th, 1980 advising of
the request from School District No. 43 for a 6 inch watermain extension
to install a hydrant at the Hazel Trembath Elementary Cchool; and a
watermain connection to instali a hvdrant at the Hastings Junior Secondary
School and recommending that the two connections be allowed.

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, February 28th.
1980 the request from School District No. 43 for two watermain connections
as outlined in the report be allowed; one for the Hazel Trembath Elementary
School and one for the Hastings Junlor Secondary School:
AND THAT School District No. 43 be responsible for the costs involved.
From the Public Works Committee. February 28th, 1980 regarding the
installation of "No Parking at Any Time" signs on the east side of
Gately Street from Kingsway Avenue south co the end of the industrial

zoned area and recommending that the parking restrictions be approved,

That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, February 28th,
1980 the installation of "No Parking at Any Time" siens be posted on the
east side of Gately Street from Kingsway Avenue south to the end of the
industrial zoned areca be approved.

Prior to the question beine called on the foregoing resolution
discussion ensued. Alderman Mabbett spoke In favour of having a meeting
to discuss the parking restrietions and foviting the owners of businesses
on Gately Street to come to the Counct] meeting fn two weeks.

the industrial zoned area be tabled for two weeks:
