Recommendation:

It is recommended that Erin Murphy be authorized to attend the
"Connecting in '93 Conference" and that related expenses be
funded by the City of Port Coquitlam.

Purpose/Probiem:

The purpose of this report is to provide information and a recommendation

regarding a request received from one of our staff to attend the "Connecting
in ‘93 Conference”.

Background Information:

Attached is the program outline for the "Connecting in '93 Conference" being
held in Vancouver. This conference addresses many current youth issues
and the subject matter is directly related to Erin’s responsibilities with the City.

Total cost of attending this conference is estimated to be $100.00 and funds
are available in the 1993 budget.
