Peters, City Engineer A delegation of residents of the area of Oxfore Street/Lincoln Avenue ITEM I Re: Stop Sign on Morgan at Broadway A request was received from Alderman Mabbett to consider a stop sign on Morgan at Broadway. As Broadway is designated an arterial street and as Morgan now has additional traffic. due to the opening of Thompson Park, the Committee recommends that this stop sign be installed. ITEM IT Re: Stop Sign on Mars at Victoria Drive With the new developments taking place along Huber Avenue much of the traffic is exiting the subdivision from Mars onto Victoria Drive. As Victoria Drive is an arterial street, the Committee recommends that a stop sign be installed on Mars at Victoria Drive, The Committee also considered a request for a stop sign on Mars ‘at Huber Avenue but felt that this request was pre- mature as there was no evidence yet that this intersection should be treated differently than any other residential intersection. ITEM IIT Re: Four-way Stop at Oxford and Lincoln A delegation of residents of the area of Oxford Street and Lincoln were present to request that a four-way stop be installed at the above intersection or that the stop signs be reversed to stop Oxford Street, Although the accident rate at this intersection is not significant, the delegation felt that stop signs on Oxford would reduce the speed of traffic coming 2
