Prior to passage of ‘the foregoing resolution, 4 discussion ensued and Alder-
nan Ranger expressed the opinion. that the letter was very negative in tone with
re:pect to the developments proposed for Port Coquitiam and he Suggested that the

“development of the Canadian Pacific , Radway property at the intersection of

@ wrsheod Highway and Shaughnessy Street by Narathon Realty Ltd. was an excellent
example of planning eriteria being sattofieinotwithstanding the opposite view ex-
pressed by the Chamber. He. stated that it was obviously a site that 1 was not suit-
able for either “Tenidentiat or industrial , development, but was admirably suited

for a large commercial development such as had been recently discussed. Alder-

man Traboulay suggested that the local businessmen in the City should organize
