new subdivision streets.

That Counc!! adopt the following pollcy on level of service for
sweeping of new subdivision streets during house construction:

1. Dirt which Is carried onto the street during the construction of
buildings In new subdivisions, whether by the builder or by his sub-
trades or anyone else working on hls property, Is to be cleaned off
the street at the end of each day by the bullder.

lf sweeping of the streets ts required, as determined by the
Engineering Inspector, this shall be done by the bullder at least
once per week on a Friday.

All costs for cleaning and street sweeping shall be borne by the
bul ider and If the bullder falls to take this action when necessary
the City Is authorized ‘to do the work and take the cost out of the
bulider's Highway Use Permit deposit and any costs not directly
covered by the bullders are to. be taken out of the Bullding Permit
Fees.
