SUBJECT: Relocation of Statutory Right-of-way - 1278 Ricard Place
(Public Works Committee Meeting, November 19, 1991)

Recommendation:
That His Worship, the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to execute the attached discharge

of the existing sanitary sewer statutory right-of-way and the attached new sanitary sewer
statutory right-of-way over Lot 13, D232, Group 1, NWD, Plan 79056 - 1278 Ricard Place.

As shown in the attached memo, dated November 13, 1991, the builder of the house at 1278
Ricard Place had, in error, constructed part of the footing of a new house on to the existing
sanitary sewer right-of-way by approximately 4 metres. As compensation for this
encroachment, the builder has agreed to relocate the sanitary sewer right-of-way .4 metres to the
west so that there would be no encroachment on the 3.0 metres wide right-of-way.
