BY-LAW NO. 1256

& By-law to provide for the mailing of notices of Public Hearinge
Pursuant to Section 703 of the "Municipal Act",
WHEREAS the Council ig required by Section 703(2a) of the ‘Mhuniedpal
Ace” by By-law co Provide that notice of the hearing of a rezoning or Land Use
Contract must be mziled to the owners and occupiers of ell real property within
the area that ts subject to the rezoning or Land Use Contract; and within a
distance specified in che By-law from tha ares thet is subject to tha razoning
or Land Use Contract;
THEREFORE the Municipal Counctl of The Corporation of tive City of
Port Coquitlam, in open meating aasanbled, enacts as follows:
i. On or after the first day of August, 1973, a copy of every Notice of
Public Hearing required to be published pursuant to Section 703(1) of the
“Wanicipal act" shall be mailed by the Municipal Clerk not less than five (5)
days nor nore than fifteen (15) days before the date ef the hearing vc the owners
and occupier of all real property
{a) within the ares that 1a gubject to che Fezoning or Land Usa Contrast; and
(>) within a distance of four hundred (400) feet fron ll boundaries of the

2. This By-law shall cone into full force and effect on tha first day of
Avgust, 1973,
3. Thies By-Law may be cited for all purposes as the “Pore Coquitlam

Hotice of Public Hearings Mailing By-law, ‘1973, No. 1256",
