In this By-law: {a) "Discotheque" shall mean a place for dancing open only to ‘persons who are less then Nineteen (19) years of ape; (b) "Statutory Noliday" sliald not include Sunday. 2. (a) No person shall own or operate a Discotheque without a valid and subsisting licence for the carrying on cf such business. {b) The Licence inspector shall issue a licence for a Discotheque when he is satisfied that the applicant has complied with all requirements of all the By-laws of the City regulating building, zoning, health, sanitation and business, and of any statute affecting the operation of the said business. ‘3. Lhe owner or operator of a Discotheque: (s) shall not admit to the premises any person not of the preper age ' £ixed by this By-law for admission thereto; 7 (b) shal}. not have any alcoholic beverages upon the premises; (ce) shall not permit any person te have alcoholic beverages in his possession on the premises; (da) shall. not permit the drinking of alcohelic beverages on the premises; Ce) shall not permit drunkenness or disorderly conduct on the premises; Cf} shall mot permit any drunk or disorderly person to‘enter or remain on the premises; (g)° shall not permit any person who leaves the Discotheque to re-enter the Discotheque on the same day; . Ch) shall not permit any person less than thirteen (13) years of age nox more than eighteen (18) years of age to enter or remain on the preniser; (4). shall not permit the sound level as measured on the "A" Scale, which is to say the "A" ‘weighted network, and slow response of a Sound Level Neter to exceed. decibels or such Jover level as is required to prevent the ry sound penctrating the walls of the building in which the Discotheque is housed, - 4ay (a) The owner or operator of a Discotheque way have the Discotheque open for business only during the hours herefaafter specified: (1) from 6:00 o'clock in the afternoon to 10:00 e'ctock in the afternoon on Nondays, Tuesdays, Rednesdays, and Thursdayn; provided, Chat when any such day precedes 4 statutory holiday or a day when public scheols are net in session, the tine of 2:00 of clowh 10:00 ofelock dn the afternoon de extended to In the afternoon;
